I know I'm late with this, but here is what I came up with.

This is an awesome excercise. I want to finish a couple of these and make them into final illustrations.

So it begins!!!!!

Welcome one and all to the first of many character design exercises. We are going to begin things off with the shape above. Your mission, should you chose to except it, is to create a character or two or three, etc. . . using the shape.

The only rule for this one is that the shape be a major part of the characters design. You can do human, animal or some made up creature.
